You can set printer settings for envelopes, labels and reports, which will be used each time you print these items. If you do not set printer defaults, you can specify printer settings each time you print.
You can also choose a default envelope and label template, which specifies the size, style and appearance of the envelopes and labels. The default template you choose will be used each time you print these items. You can use one of the pre-made templates that come with Top Producer 7i, or create your own template.

The setup details may vary slightly, depending on the printer.
From the Setup menu, under Printer setup, click Default Envelope Printer.
In the Feed method section, select which way you will insert the envelope into the printer by clicking one of the icons.
The name of your default printer automatically appears in the Printer drop-down list. To specify another printer, click the drop-down list box and choose from the list.
The default paper size is automatically set to Letter. To specify another size, click the PaperSize drop-down list and choose from the list.
Select a paper source from the Paper Source drop-down list. Depending on the printer you have selected, the options may indicate paper types, such as Plain, Transparency, etc.; or the location of the paper feed, such as Auto Select, etc.
The Default template section shows you the name of the template selected as your default. Click Select default envelope template to create a new template, or select an existing one.
Click OK.
Label settings More Info:

From the Setup menu, under Printer setup, click Default Label Printer.
Specify how many labels per contact you want to print by typing in the Copies per contact field or by using the spin buttons.
The name of your default printer automatically appears in the Printer drop-down list. To specify another printer, click the drop-down list box and choose from the list.
Select a paper source from the Paper Source drop-down list. Depending on the printer you have selected, the options may indicate paper types, such as Plain, Transparency, etc.; or the location of the paper feed, such as Auto Select, etc.
The Default template section shows you the name of the template selected as your default. Click Select default label template to create a new template, or select an existing one. When you select a default label template, a preview of the template is displayed in the top left corner.

Report settings More Info:
You can specify whether you want reports printed in portrait or landscape orientation. Regardless of the settings you specify here, the Weekly Schedule report will always print in landscape orientation.
From the Setup menu, under Printer setup, click Default report orientation.
Select the orientation you want reports to print in (i.e. Portrait or Landscape).
Click OK.
All reports (except the Weekly Schedule report) will print in the orientation you specified.
Tip: You can clear your default envelope and label printer settings by clicking Setup, Printer setup, Clear default. Only the report settings will not be affected by this action.
