Use the following procedure to add Top Producer contacts to a message's recipient list in Outlook.
Adding contacts to an Outlook message:
From within the Outlook New Message, Reply, Forward, or Reply All, window, click Select TP Contacts.
Note: If using Outlook 2007, click the Add-Ins tab to see the Send and Copy to TP button.
From the Top Producer - Add Recipients dialog box, enter some search criteria for the contact(s) you want to find in the First Name, Last Name, and Company Name boxes and then click Search.
Tip: If you enter search criteria in more than one box, your criteria will be strung together as AND statements. That is, it will search for contacts matching ALL of your criteria, not contacts that match ANY one entry.
Click recipients in the search results and click the To, Cc, and Bcc buttons to add them to the appropriate recipient box.
If the contact record doesn't already exist in 7i/8i, you can create a 7i/8i contact record for the recipient. More Info:
Click the Add New Contact button.
Specify the contact details, and then click Ok.
The new contact appears in the To field, and a contact record is created in 7i/8i.
Click OK to return to your message.
The contacts you selected will now be visible in their respective recipient address boxes.
Note: The email message will not appear in the contacts' Top Producer history record unless you send the message using the Send and Copy to TP button rather than the standard Outlook Send button.
