Entering a contact's name details

To open the Name details page: From the Contacts menu, click Address book. Select the contact you want to view. From the action menu, click View or edit contact. Just below the Contact tab, click the contact's name.

  1. Enter the Primary person and Secondary person information. More Info:

    The fields available depend on whether you are entering details on the primary or secondary person.

    • Select On mail if you want the company name to appear on outgoing correspondence.

    • In the Letter salutation and Envelope/label salutation fields, specify how you want the contact addressed on all outgoing correspondence.

    • If you know the contact's birthday, click the calendar icon to select the date. If you want to set a reminder to appear in Today's Business, select Remind me, and then specify the number of days before the birthday you want to be reminded.

  2. From the Family and friends tab, enter details about the contact's family and friends. More Info:

    1. Click Add new to add a friend or family member.

    2. From the Add family or friend dialog box, enter their First name and Last name.

    3. Enter their Birthday. If you want to set a reminder to appear in Today's Business, select Remind me, and then specify the number of days before the birthday you want to be reminded.

    4. Enter their Relation to the primary contact.

    5. From the Resident section, select Yes if the family member or friend lives with the primary contact.

    6. Click OK.

  3. From the Assistants tab, enter details about the contact's assistant(s). More Info:

    1. Click Add new to add an assistant.

    2. From the Add assistant dialog box, enter the assistant's First name, Last name and Initial.

    3. Enter the assistant's Designation, if applicable.

    4. Enter the assistant's Email address.

    5. Click OK.

  4. Click OK.
