Viewing a history of activities performed for a contact

To open the Contact details page: From the Contacts menu, click Address book. Select the contact you want to view. From the action menu, click View or edit contact.

You can view a history of all the activities and correspondence for the contact.

To view a contact's history

  1. From the Contact details page, click the View history action menu item.

  2. Select an item from the drop-down list to view activities of a specific type. For example, to view all emails sent to this contact, select Email from the drop-down list.

  3. Select an item and click the View action menu item to view a specific history item. More Info:

    Since historical activities have already been marked done, you can only view an activity's details - not edit them.

    Note:  The options available depend on the activity type you are viewing.

    • Click Notes to work with notes for the currently displayed activity.

    • If viewing a meeting activity, click Attachments to view the attachments associated with the activity.

    • If you are viewing a correspondence activity, click Print to print a copy of the displayed item.

    • From the Print dialog box, customize your print settings, and then click OK.

    • If you are viewing an email activity, click Send to resend the email to the contact.

    • When the Send email dialog box opens, click Yes.

    • Click Delete to delete the currently displayed activity from the contact's history.

    • When the Delete activity dialog box opens, click Yes to confirm deletion.

    • Click Close when finished.

  4. Click the View report action menu item to generate a contact history report.

  5. Select the item and then click the Undo mark done action menu item to reverse an activity's "done" status.

  6. The item is removed from the contact history, and the activity reappears in Today's Business.

  7. Select an item and then click the Delete action menu item to remove a history item.

  8. When the Delete activity dialog box opens, click Yes.
