Composing an email message

To open the New email message page: From the Email menu, click Compose new message.

Note: To send an email, you must have completed Email setup and have your return email address entered in the Agent setup page.

To create an email message

  1. On the Compose new message page, enter the name of the recipients. More Info:

    • Type the recipients' email addresses, separated by a semi-colon (;) into the To, Cc Short for Carbon Copy: The Cc field is to specify secondary recipients who will receive 'carbon copies' of the email., and Bcc Short hand for 'Blind Carbon Copy'.     • Click To, Cc, or Bcc and select recipients from your address book.

  2. Type a Subject for the email.

  3. Click Attachments to attach a file, such as a picture, to the email. More Info:

    1. Click Attach file.

    2. Locate the file to attach and click Open.

  4. Type the message body in the main editing area. You can use the toolbar commands to format your email message. For details on using the HTML editor, see "HTML editor commands".

  5. Optionally do any of the following:

  6. Click Send to send this email or click Save as draft to save the message to the Drafts folder.

  7. Top Producer 7i checks the email addresses to ensure that they have the proper syntax and they do not have an unsubscribed email status. If there are any recipients with an unsubscribed email status, they are removed from the email and are displayed in a dialog box. Review this list and select the check box next to the contacts who you wish to add back to the email.
