HTML editor commands


The integrated email editing environment in Top Producer 7i supports both HTML and Plain text modes. When you view a new email message, you will be able to see it in HTML. When you edit or compose an email message, you can:

 

In addition to the toolbar icons, the HTML editor also includes a shortcut menu, which provides you with an alternate way to access some of the editing functions.

 

HTML Editor Commands
 

Click Undo to undo your last operation, or Redo to redo your last operation.

Click the Spelling icon to spell check the document or selected text.

Click Find and replace to find or find and replace text.

Use these icons to Cut and Copy selected text, then Paste elsewhere on the page. These commands are also available from the shortcut menu.

Click these icons to format text in Bold, Italic, and/or Underline (available in HTML mode only).

Use the Font color icon and its drop-down box to change the color of the text (available in HTML mode only).

Use these alignment icons to align text to the Left, Center, or Right (available in HTML mode only).

Click the Font type drop-down list box to change the text font.

Click the Font size drop-down list box to change the size of the text.

Click the Bullets icon to create a bulleted list (available in HTML mode only).

Click the Numbered list icon to create a numbered list (available in HTML mode only).

Use the Increase indent and Decrease indent icons to change the indent from the margin (in 0.5 inch increments) (available in HTML mode only).

Use the Insert horizontal line icon to insert a horizontal line in the message at the cursor point (available in HTML mode only).

Click the Insert hyperlink icon to insert a hyperlink into the document. The Insert hyperlink pop-up window opens, enabling you to enter the hyperlink text and the URL or web site address (available in HTML mode only).

Click Insert picture from file to add a picture into your document. The Insert picture pop-up window opens (available in HTML mode only).

Click the Preferences icon to set the message format to HTML or Plain text. NOTE: HTML is the only option when creating or modifying email templates or when using Mass email, so the Preferences icon will not be visible on the toolbar from these locations. Plain text mode is available when composing a new message from My Email - Inbox.
