Mark done

 

When you complete an activity you should always be sure to mark it done. This is done by clicking Mark done from the action menu while the activity is selected or being viewed.

 

Once marked done, the activity will be added to the associated contact's history, and will no longer appear in Today's business to remind you to perform it. Click here for information on viewing completed activities in contact history. You can also undo the marking done from contact history. Appointments and calls, once marked done, appear in My Schedule with a check mark.

 

 

NOTE: In some cases you will have dependent activities. When marking done a parent activity The first level activity upon which the dependant activities are associated. you will be prompted with a Set completion date pop-up window. Type a date in the Completion date text field or click the calendar icon and select a completion date.

 

For example, activity B is scheduled to occur 10 days after activity A is completed. But what if you do not complete activity A on the scheduled date? Should activity B occur 10 days after activity A's originally scheduled date, or 10 days after activity A's actual completion date? To solve this problem, if you mark done activity A before or after it's scheduled date, you will be prompted to enter a completion date so that the dependent activities can adjust. As a result activity B will occur 10 days after whatever date you enter at this prompt.
