Modifying an applied action plan

To open the Contact details page: From the Contacts menu, click Address book. Select the contact you want to view. From the action menu, click View or edit contact.

If an action plan is assigned to a contact, the plan name appears in the Action plan drop-down list on the Contact details page. Changes you make to the applied plan will affect the displayed contact only. To make global changes to an action plan, see "Plans setup".

To make changes to an applied plan

  1. From the Contact details page, click the Action plan link.

  2. Select the Type of activity you want to view, and who the activities are Assigned to.

  3. Click the Select plan action menu item to apply another plan to the displayed contact.

  4. Click the Add new action menu item to add an activity to the plan.

  5. Click the View or edit action menu item to modify a plan activity.

  6. To send an email activity, select the activity and click the Send action menu item.

  7. When the Send email dialog box opens, click Yes.

  8. Click the Mark done action menu item if a plan activity has been completed and you want to mark the activity done.

  9. When the Mark done dialog box opens, click Yes.

  10. Click the View report action menu item to generate a report of a plan's activities.

  11. To delete an activity, select the activity and click the Delete action menu item.

  12. When the Delete dialog box opens, click Yes.

  13. Click Close when finished modifying the plan.
